Looking for an exciting new after-school activity? The Hill is delighted to announce the launch of our brand-new After School Snowboard Club in Rossendale, starting Friday 6th November 2026!
Running alongside our popular After School Ski Club, our new snowboard club gives children aged 8 and over the opportunity to discover snowboarding, learn new skills and build confidence on the slopes in a fun and supportive environment.
Our After School Snowboard Club is a fantastic way to get active, meet new friends and try something different after school.

Our new After School Snowboard Club is perfect for children who want to give snowboarding a go or develop their existing skills.
With guidance from our instructors, children can work on their balance, learn to control their speed, practise stopping safely and develop their turning technique. Sessions are designed to help young snowboarders progress at their own pace while enjoying their time on the slopes.
Based at The Hill in Rossendale, our club provides a fun opportunity for local children to discover a new sport and enjoy an active Friday afternoon.

Here’s everything you need to know about joining our After School Snowboard Club in Rossendale:
- Start date: Friday 6th November 2026
- Day: Fridays
- Time: 4:30pm–5:30pm
- Age requirement: 8 years and over
- Price: £72 for a six-week block
- Equipment hire: Included in the six-week block
- Location: The Hill, Haslingden Old Road, Rossendale, BB4 8RR
The snowboard club will run at the same time as our After School Ski Club, giving families the choice between skiing and snowboarding.
🎿 Do Children Need Their Own Snowboarding Equipment?
No! One of the great things about joining our After School Snowboard Club in Rossendale is that equipment hire is included in the six-week block. Children can get started without needing to purchase their own snowboard and boots.
Children should bring gloves, suitable trousers and a long-sleeved top. Gloves are compulsory and can be purchased at reception for £3 if required. Helmets are compulsory for all children under 16, and helmets are available on site.
We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the session starts to allow enough time to get changed, collect equipment and prepare for the lesson.
