Skiing
Learning to ski has never been easier with our expert instructors. Beginners can start with Taster Sessions 50 minute sessions, perfect to get the feel for skiing. After that, you can join a beginner’s course, available in two-day or four-session formats, with flexible scheduling. Then move on to our improver skiing course, where you will move on to our main slope.

Snowboarding
If snowboarding is your thing, head to the slopes of Rossendale! For ages 8 and up, our friendly instructors will help you discover your inner snowboarder.
Start with a 50-minute Taster Session, including equipment hire. Afterwards, you can join our beginner’s course with two 1-hour 50-minute sessions.

Tubing
Our popular Fun Tubes offer non-skiers and non-boarders a great way to enjoy The Hill with family fun! Zoom down our slopes in these tubes—a perfect weekend activity for all ages, including children as young as 5 when accompanied by an adult.

Airsoft Shooting
Join us for an adrenaline-fueled adventure at The Hill’s Airsoft arena! Test your shooting skills with semi-automatic pistols and progress to pump-action shotguns and a bolt action sniper rifle.
During our 1hr 15min sessions, choose from various Airsoft weapons and sharpen your spy skills. Ages 8+ welcome. Book Airsoft sessions with friends to compete and find the top shot!

Things you need to know
Aim to arrive 15 minute before the arrival time of your session, to give ample time to get prepared for your session with us.
Do you supply the equipment?
We supply all the equipment you need for all sessions – skis, snowboards, boots, and helmets are included.
What do I need to wear?
Gloves, pants and long sleeved top must be worn for skiing and snowboarding.
Gloves are compulsory. We are happy for you to bring your own or we have pairs available to purchase at reception for £3 or you can add them at time of booking via our website.
Are helmets compulsory?
Helmet are available on site. Under 16 year olds must wear a helmet when skiing and snowboarding.
Is there changing facilities?
Yes we have an open changing facilities where clothes and bags can be left. We have also lockers and changing cubicles in our ski hire area.
Are there any age restrictions?
Skiing is available for children aged 5 and up. Snowboarding is open to those aged 8 and older. Tubing sessions are suitable for ages 5 and above. Airsoft shooting is available for participants aged 8 and up.
Is there parking?
Yes! We provide free parking to all visitors. Our address is The Hill Haslingden Old Rd, Rossendale BB4 8RR.
