Bring the kids along to our Saturday Club. Great to learn new skills, keep active and make new friends.
Our club runs every week throughout the year and is a great way for kids of all ages to learn to ski and snowboard with qualified instructors.
Perfect way to become great skiers and snowboarders in no time at all.
Who can join?
Ski Kindergarten – 3 Years+
Saturday Club for Skiing – 5 years+
Saturday Club for Snowboarding – 8 years+
When is it?
You choose which of the sessions you prefer, either 9.30am or 11.30am.
Pricing
Each child is £10 each.
Kindergarten tickets are £10 each.
You can purchase a block of tickets. After intake you can join for a minimum 6 week membership and keep up the fun for longer!
£60 for a 6 week block
£100 for a 10 week block and get an 11th free.
All prices include equipment. New starters must pre-book.
How to join
Special intake sessions are held for those who have never skied or snowboarded before, giving a fun and exciting experience for everyone who is at the same level.
Children who have had a minimum of 4 hours of instruction, can control their speed, and be able to stop do not need to start on an intake day.
Please call reception on 01706 226457 to speak to staff who will give the next intake days for the sessions and to book your place.

Friday After School Ski Club
Brand new for 2024. From 4:30pm till 5:30pm join our after school ski club. If you can’t make the Saturday morning club why not try out Friday club.
Rossendale Special Ski Club
Saturday – 2:00pm till 4:00pm
A friendly ski club for those with a learning difficulty.
The club is open to any young person in East Lancashire and neighbouring counties with a Learning Disability. The criteria is that they must have or have had a Statement of Special Educational Needs or be on School Action +. There is no upper age limit but we have set a lower age limit of 6 years.
They have a very experienced coach in John Vaughan supported by qualified instructors and a host of parents, guardians and volunteers all of whom create a wonderful atmosphere on Saturday afternoons for the skiers and their loved ones.
They also have a Special Olympic Team.
The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

Gryffin SnowSports Club

The Gryffin SnowSports Club is an independantly run, family orientated ski club which helps people learn, improve and enhance their skills and techniques so that they can enjoy the world of winter sports.
Gryffin’s approach is that everybody can learn how to ski. With experienced, qualified instructors who understand each and every member of their group, they know how to ensure you get the best for yourself whilst releasing your full potential on the slopes.
If you would like more information about becoming a member of Gryffin then you are more than welcome to come along and join them on the slope or get together for refreshments after the morning’s ski session.

Ski Rossendale Race Club
Tuesday and Friday – 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Ski Rossendale Race Club focus is on race training for juniors and adults of all ages. They are registered with Snowsport England and our members take part in regional fun races, club nationals and grand prix races on both artificial outdoor and indoor snow slopes throughout the United Kingdom.
To take part in the National Races the skiers are registered with Snowsport England and they are awarded seed points when they compete in a race. The number of seed points that the racer has is an indication of their national ranking.

2K Performance
Thursday Evenings 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Multi-disciplined performance enhancement
Their members are coached in slalom & basic freestyle skills by qualified coaches. 2K Performance believe in all round training and fitness so each session starts with fitness training.
2K Performance aims to teach a wide variety of skiing disciplines allowing for natural progression so when children advance and become interested in racing or any other discipline then they can come and expand on their skills. As long as their is a basic skiing ability present and an eagerness to learn and improve, or maybe you want to explore a new area of winter sports then 2K might be the best option for you.

What lessons can The Hill offer?
Skiing and Snowboarding are such great ways to get children and teachers alike to learn a new skill, improve their balance and co-ordination skills, and work alongside their peers to reach their targets.
They will cover everything from the basics and will progress through all of the necessary skills to ensure your students become comfortable and confident
What is tubing?
Our Tubing sessions are also available as a fun alternative for groups to enjoy the speed of the slopes. Jump into our rubber inflatable ring and zoom down our slopes.
*Tubing can also be a combo activity with our skiing and snowboarding activities so children can experience both within one session.
Who are the lessons are for?
Our fully qualified and experienced instructors deliver fun and educational P.E lessons for Primary schools and Year 7 – Year 9 in secondary.
How long are the lessons?
The hour-long sessions which can be booked in blocks for term time.
Sessions are £10pp
* Need to be booked in multiples of 10 children.

School trips & reward days
Host your annual school or group trip at The Hill, Rossendale.
We are able to cater for all ages and abilities and also include support to those with disabilities.
Students and teachers can take part in a challenging but super fun school trip, where we offer taster sessions of skiing, snowboarding, or tubing. Our activities are not only great fun but are also perfect team building exercises.

Duke of Edingburgh
If your schools’ students are taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh programme and are able to ski, we can offer a range of volunteering opportunities to support with the programme.
*Please note students must be assessed on skiing or snowboarding ability prior.
