Situated in the picturesque Rossendale Valley, our centre offers year-round skiing experiences tailored for beginners and pro skiers.

Get to know our slopes

Our site is made up of 3 slopes. Our beginner slope (25 metres long), intermediate slope (60 metres) & our main slope (160 metres).

We also have our Ski Hire area where you will pick up all your equipment needed for your skiing session which is included in every session and will find our free lockers and changing rooms. Everything you need to start learning to ski with us.

Taster Sessions

Learn to ski in Lancashire.

These 50 minute sessions are great for people who have never skied before and want to know what it is like before committing to a learn to ski course . Get to know the basics on our 25 metre beginner slope.

Learn:

– Slope etiquette
– Moving flat on your skis
– Learn side step
– Skiing down our beginner slope
– Learning balance.
– Learning to use the ski lift 

£20 for juniors and £25 for adults

* Juniors must be 5+ to Ski

Beginner courses

Learn to Ski in Lancashire

This course is great for beginners, you don’t need to have completed a ski taster to join, jump right on to one of our courses to start your skiing journey. 

– Build on controlling your speed and direction
– Bending knee correctly 
– Develop balance and posture
– Start to turn
– Introduced to snowplough
– Intro to changing direction and steering 
– Start on our beginner slope and move to our improver slope

Sessions can be either over  2 days – 1 hour 50 mins or 4 days once a week – 50 mins sessions.

Juniors must be 5+ to ski or 8+ for snowboard

 Juniors  £99   | Adult  £109 

Once you have completed our beginner course you will then be ready to start our improvers course.

Improver courses

Learn to Ski in Lancashire

Moving on to these from your beginner course or if you already have some beginner skiing experience at another slope and would like to improve your skiing skills..

– Develop quality turns on longer runs. 
– Link your snowplough turns
– Be able to control speed and direction
– Move to the main slope
– Develop the plough parallel technique whilst controlling your speed
– Sessions can take place on improver or main slope depending on experience and confidence.

Sessions can be either over  2 days – 1 hour 50 mins or 4 days once a week – 50 mins sessions.

Juniors must be 5+ to ski or 8+ for snowboard

Why not try a Private Lesson?

An exclusive 50-minute session on our slopes with you and your friends or family with our ski instructor.

Tailored to any ability so if your a beginner wanting some privacy for your lesson or a pro who wants to refine your skills before hitting the mountains.

£85 for one person and any extra person is priced at £20.

We also have a family private lesson deal at £125 per person for up to 5 people.

Things you need to know

Aim to arrive 15 minute before the arrival time of your session, to give ample time to get prepared for your session with us.

Do you supply the equipment?

We supply all the equipment you need for all sessions – skis, snowboards, boots, and helmets are included.

What do I need to wear?

Gloves, pants and long sleeved top must be worn for skiing and snowboarding.

Gloves are compulsory. We are happy for you to bring your own or we have pairs available to purchase at reception for £3 or you can add them at time of booking via our website.

Are helmets compulsory?

Helmet are available on site. Under 16 year olds must wear a helmet when skiing and snowboarding.

Is there changing facilities?

Yes we have an open changing facilities where clothes and bags can be left. We have also free lockers and changing cubicles in our ski hire area.

Are there any age restrictions?

Skiing is available for children aged 5 and up. Snowboarding is open to those aged 8 and older. Tubing sessions are suitable for ages 5 and above. Airsoft shooting is available for participants aged 8 and up.

Is there parking?

Yes! We provide free parking to all visitors. Our address is The Hill Haslingden Old Rd, Rossendale BB4 8RR.
